Popcorn begins long before heat reaches the kernel. The crop, the lot and the final application are connected through a sequence of practical decisions.

One: plan the crop. The intended popping application shapes the kernel requirement and the way cultivation is organised across Venagro's own, leased and partner farms.

Two: grow. Popcorn maize is cultivated across Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through the company's three-route sourcing model.

Three: protect the harvest. Timing, drying and handling influence whether the kernel shell reaches intake intact.

Four: clean and grade. Lots are separated and assessed so butterfly and mushroom applications can follow the appropriate route.

Five: condition. Kernel moisture is managed for the commercial use the buyer has specified.
